Reishi
Reishi (Ganoderma sichuanense) is a polypore fungus with a corky texture and bitter flavour. Reishi is regarded as a potent folk-medicinal mushroom, and is traditionally brewed into a tea and/or steeped in alcohol to extract compounds believed to promote longevity. Fresh Reishi is easier and quicker to use than when dried.

Ganoderma sichuanense, aka Red Reishi: steep for 1 month in alcohol, agitating daily, then separate and simmer for 2 hours in water to create a 'dual extract tincture', or simply make a tea. Folk-medicinal.
